Magnificent mountain world -The Schilthorn

The highest peak of the Bernese pre-Alps is the Schilthorn at 1,973 meters height offers an incredible panoramic view of the mountain landscape. It is a bequest for adventure lovers with its precipitous slopes for expert skiers and astonishing snowfields for ambitious free riders.

You will have to hold your breath for the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau sights from this peak. Modernized aerial cable cars rove you around cosy huts and bars and alluring sunny terraces.

The diadem to the Schilthom is the Piz Gloria panoramic restaurant that revolves on its axis once every hour. In fact, the peak itself is sometimes referred to as Piz Gloria. One of the Bond film (On Her Majesty’s Secret Service) was shot here and making the Schilthorn immensely popular.

Summer lure and winter thrill – Interlaken

Eternal snow – Mt. Titlis

Massively situated at a height of 10,000 feet, it is a snowy paradise with eternal snow covered peaks. The nature has been generous here; Mt Titlis’s majestic beauty will leave you both breathless and speechless. The man made creations are also munificent.

Mt Titlis ushers you into a different world in the centre of the glacier which has a ring of walls made of ice. Glacier Grotto is an inimitable experience in the cave that is illuminated with lamps and mystifying, unusual sounds greet you as you go deeper down.

Revolving cable cars, first of its kinds, take you through an enchanting ice and snow journey to the peak of the mountain.

Talking of ice, you can also immerse yourself in the environment of ice and snow atop Mt Titlis with the ice flyer chairlift.

Another interesting attraction will be the glacier park, packed with fun rides on snow tubes, balancers, scooters, snow snakes and sledges.

You will find many eating options out there, right from international cuisine restaurants, ice cream boutiques, and other romantic candlelight restaurants.
